Shrimp and crab cake Alfredo


  • 1 box fettucine noodles
  • 1 lb. large or extra-large shrimp
  • Panko or plain bread crumbs
  • Crab cake- see below
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 stick of salted butter
  • 1 8oz pack of cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1-2 cups of parmesan cheese (grated)


In a sauce pan melt butter. Ass in heavy cream and cream cheese. Simmer until all is melted and mixed well. Add parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Simmer for about 20 minutes on medium- low heat. Make sure it is thick enough and coats the spoon. Note: reserve some of your pasta water. Just in case it is too thick, you can add a little of the pasta water to adjust your consistency.

Deep fried Crab cakes or pan seared


  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ chopped red bell pepper
  • 2-4 stems of green onion
  • ½ cup mayo
  • ½ pack zatarans crab cake mix
  • 1 teaspoon of old bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon of cocktail sauce
  • A little less than a handful of panko bread crumbs

Frying :

  • 1-2 eggs
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of bread crumbs or panko


Mix all ingredients gently. Be careful not to crumble the crab.

Form patties. Coat in flour, dip into egg wash, and coat in bread crumbs. Fry until golden brown. About 3 minutes per side. If you are pan searing your crab cakes. Form patties, coat bottom of frying pan with olive oil and sear 3 minutes each side. Once you have cooked you pasta, Alfredo sauce, and crab cake. Reserve some Alfredo sauce. Mix renaming Alfredo and pasta together and plate. Place crab cakes on top and drizzle renaming Alfredo sauce of crab and pasta.
